Why we built this
Years working across professional services taught us how much sensitive information flows through meeting rooms — and how little control people have over where it ends up. Existing tools made a trade we couldn't accept: convenience in exchange for control over your own conversations. We wanted both. So we built Sonabrief.
Why open source
Open source is the proof that what we say matches what we do. Read it, audit it, fork it. AGPL v3.
Why bootstrap
No VC, no growth-at-all-costs. We pay our bills with subscriptions. That's the model.
Why we don't show our face
The brand speaks for itself. When Sonabrief needs a public face, it'll have one. Until then: [email protected].
What we won't build
- Meeting tools that compromise privacy "just for free users"
- Enterprise bloat that makes the product worse for individuals
- Analytics that spy on you to sell ads
- Anything that would require us to be less honest tomorrow than we are today
